Using a canon HD legeria Camcorder
There is a red button at the front of the camera. This is that start/stop button which allows the person to recording and when you press the same button again it stops when you like.The top left small button is the on and off button press it for on and then press again for off. It also is a touch screen which allows to press the screen for when the user can be with and watch filming.
When using the camera can take a bit of fiddling at first but when you learn how to use it it will make the job much more easier for filming. The skills for using a camera can take up a lot of time and patience since you need to be aware of the hazards while in location your filming or with the camera. Also if anything goes wrong you shouldn't panic you should be calm and read through the instructions.
When looking after the camera you need to make sure you take with good care. For example make sure you put in the safety bag that comes the camera so that the camera doesn't scratch. Also you needs make sure you don't run around since its more likely to break that way.
Using a tripod
To use the tripod pull the three leg apart make sure the middle bracket is flat so the tripod is stable. extend the 3 legs pull the little flaps by the side on the tops of the legs allowing the legs to drop down and extend.Then click the legs into place to secure.

Use of clapperboard:
A clapper board is known to be a device to be in film producing and video production. This is to help in the synchronising of picture and sound which help finds the role of a certain scene and takes which would be recorded during the production. The noise of the clapper board of sharp noise of a 'clap' makes can be found easy on the audio track and it can known easily on the separate visual track.

These screen shots are the shots of the scene I have filmed. I had shot 3 scene and my group rotate in between scene to give everyone a fair go at filming. Plus each of us in the group had to demonstrate filming a scene because it is required in the brief hoThe first scene I had filmed is Sarah sitting next to the chest of draws. The scene was a wide shot because I had made sure Sarah's whole body was in shot as well the chest of draws. Also it was a wide shot because I wanted to see the chest of draws in use and thought it would benefit from having this shot
The second shot was medium shot of Sarah because she was explaining the chest of draws and what it does. So I wanted a medium shot of her telling the client what the product is about and would draw attention to the audience. The third scene was a close up of the chest of draws as it draws attention of the product and of focus solely on the product. Plus it describes what the procudt. Also the product is visually appealing so there would be close up shots of the actual product .The following screen is the sequence of what I have filmed in the advert. These are range of shots such as close up shots. However there are more shots used by my team members of Sarah

In this video I edited the close up shot with Sarah and the product along side I had edited the shots that was not needed such as wide shots but I help Sarah in the third shot of the voice over and the affects.
Final product: Our commercial
In our production unit in terms of filming; I had done some the shots including sarah as the actress. The filming idea was in the hair salon scenario. It was an idea bough by Sarah Parker and she was the one who though of it. The shots were a variety of medium shots and close up shots and many more shots.

For media we didn't need to follow any protocol as we didn't have to because we were filming at school and the course was provided by the Beacon School However we did need to have asked the teacher permission wether we could film in there class room or the librarian to film in the liabry. We also have needed permission to the media department on weather we could edit the shots we have filmed. SO in that case we have followed certain protocol
